Program Coordinator- Bismarck

Purpose: The Program Coordinator plays a vital role in assisting individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities in achieving their highest level of independence by supporting their personal goals and desires.

Program Coordinator – Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee onsite staff training and orientation for new employees.
  • Provide coaching, training, and supervision for staff working with individuals on your caseload.
  • Coordinate annual OSP meetings and other necessary team discussions with individuals and their support teams.
  • Develop, update, and implement OSP objectives to align with individual needs.
  • Submit restriction requests to DQA for review and HRC approval, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Conduct annual assessments and maintain accurate documentation of individual progress.
  • Review monthly documentation, monitor goal achievement and behaviors, and update the team accordingly.
  • Ensure completion of GERs and ISP data, overseeing appropriate follow-up actions.
  • Advocate for individuals by addressing their needs and concerns with the team.
  • Monitor individual schedules, ensuring proper support and supervision each day.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (Preferably in a Human Service-related field.)
  • Minimum of one year of experience working with individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities.
  • Must possess DD certification or complete it within six months of accepting position
  • CPR/First Aid certified or must successfully complete and become certified within the initial 30 days of employment.
  • A valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance for the vehicle. Successfully pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and obtain ND Department of Human Service (DHS) pre-employment approval.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective time management skills and ability to prioritize duties.
  • Knowledge of community resources

Compensation

$52,000 to $62,000 per year
